When in navigator mode the speed display is much smaller than in TT3. I personally use this as my speedo as it is far more accurate, also from a personal point of veiw I also have an imported 4x4 which displays the speed in km`s navigator mode in TT3 is a must then. Could this not be modified or is there a fix which I have not read.

No fix for that. You can try landscape view.

The size of the speed display also depends on the number o items in the status bar. If you have just the speed there it's bigger than if you have ETA, DTG etc selected too.
