heres an update I have just found out that my problem is because my destinator GPS receiver is using the SIRF protocol instead of NMEA. tomtom have told me to change the protocol over to NMEA, but I dont know how to, can anyone give me any ideas? |

Paul, Winfast navigator may be able to do this for you, it's available from our downloads page here (under Leadtek Drivers & Software) and you will also find instructions here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have tried winfast, everytime I change the protocol to NMEA, it stops working, when I change it back to SIRF it springs back to life |

Paul, check this message. You have to be careful what baud rates you set as not all baud rates work, eg NMEA really only works well on 4800 where SiRF you can set the receiver to use anything above 19200 and they'll work quite happily. |
