Have you paired your Bluetooth GPS device with your PCC yet? If not then I suggest doing that and exploring the device for services and making sure that the gps output serial port appears in the bluetooth manager. |

I have the same problem with the BT browser, and after using the tweak, I get the same message about the Widcomm registry key not being found |

Ok, try this.
Soft reset your PPC
Open up bluetooth manager and remove any pairings for your GPS unit
Remove any shortcuts to your GPS unit
Soft reset your PPC
Pair your GPS unit with your PPC
Once paired use bluetooth manager to setup a shortcut to your GPS unit. To do this click "new" then "Explore a Bluetooth device" and follow the onscreen instructions to select a service on the gps unit and make a shortcut to it.
Soft reset your PPC
Turn on bluetooth
Open some software that wants to see your GPS unit. I use Memory Map but any bit of software that needs to communicate with the GPS unit will do. When the Bluetooth Browser pops up asking which bluetooth device you want to use click on the GPS unit.
Close the bit of software and use BTRegTweak to select the Automatic option and select the kind of PPC you have from the dropdown list.
