Hi All,
I'm new here, hope you can help me. I've never seen such a rich forum like this one about PDA navigation.

This is my question:
I have a Treo 650 and I want to equip it with TomTom navigator 5 and a BT receiver of the last generation.
I read around about problems trying to make work togheter a Treo650, TT5 and some kind of BT receiver (I saw a thread in an italian newsgroup regarding the Leadtek receivers not working with the Treo).

Now I'd like to know if someone of you have a Treo 650 with TT5 and uses it with a SiRFstarIII receiver without problems.

What do you think is the best choice in the present time?
Fortuna Slim?
Leadtek 9553?
GlobalSat BT-338?
Holux GPSlim 236?
Or the bluetooth bundle by TomTom with their own receiver is a good choice? (what hardware they use now?)

I plan to use it not only in car but in bike too so the battery duration is a crucial point (and, for this reason, I think the Leadtek is not to be considered at all, compatibility issues apart)

By the way, anyone knows about a gps mount suitable for Treo that can be used on a bike?

Thank you

Tonino

Best value I expect will the the Tom Tom bundle with their new BT receiver. I have their old BT receiver & it works fine.

I have other issues with TT5 & my treo 650. Until Tom Tom release an update which is due soon, I am using my 'old' T3. I couldn't live with all the resets it was causing. Since removing TT5 the Treo has not reset once in the last few weeks.

I have no experience of motorbike or bicycle mounts for the treo 650 yet. (Tom Tom rider, due out shortly, is designed for motorbikes, but probably could be used in the car as well.)

Water proof tank bag with clear plastic top?
