Navigator 2.05 upgrade

Just downloaded navigator 2.05

This installed fine as did the GPS update.

On starting navigator it had lost my home location and also my favourite locations have gone.

Did I miss something in the install ?

Can I get them back ?

I have not tried to navigate home with it yet as I am still in the office. It seems to thke an age to load on my Ipaq 3870 with the EMTAC bluetooth reciever.



Is anybody else having these problems ??

It's certainly not normal to lose all your favourites when performing an upgrade, did you install straight over the top? The favourites are stored within a config file in the map directory but this sounds like it has been overwritten, did you reinstall the maps at any stage? Personally, apart from my Home Locations which is a favourite I save any others as POIs, these can be easily backed up or copied unlike favourites.

I had a similar problem with loss of favourites with 2.05, but not when I performed the upgrade.



I had a sucessful upgrade and was able to use the system. However, whilst I was 'playing' with the system with the GPS disabled, the system did crash whilst routing to a favourite and all were lost.



Are the fav's stored in the config file NavigatorSettings.cfg as all the other settings seemed to be intact? If they are in this file, then presumably this can also be backed-up???
