TomTom support gets worse!

Having run Navigator for Palm (4.42) on a Sony Clie TH55, I ordered the upgrade on 1 June (order number 544***). Needless to say it has yet to arrive.

Since then my Clie died unexpectedly, and has been replaced by a LifeDrive. So, I try and get TomTom to activate my new device.

Answer 1 - Navigator for Palm doesn't work on LifeDrive

Erm, yes it does, according to several posts and my own colleague who has given me a full demo on his device.

Answer 2 - The upgrade won't work on LifeDrive

Erm, yes it will, many posts have confirmed this.

Answer 3 - we can't activate a new device as your product has been upgraded.

Aarrgh, but you haven't sent it yet, it can take up to 5 weeks, and I have no working sat-nav which is critical to my business use!!

Oh dear, does it get more absurd than this!
