this may be fishing in the dark but you can try to defragment your storage card and see if that helps. Also, remove programs from main memory that you don't really need. _________________ Lutz

Was you starting TT from the same location that you last used it? because if not it can take a while for TT to get a fix and its location data from the satellites.
Check your GPS status - GPS, is set to TomTom Navigator GPS and Serial Cable on Com 1.
Is the light on the GPS Mouse on and flashing Green or Red if Green it has a fix, if Red it is trying to acquire a fix.
If there is no light on the GPS mouse then you need to check the power supply to the mouse and that it is still connected correctly.
If you have power to the mouse and still no lights on then the chances are the mouse has died. _________________ Graham.

HI ther, thanks fo rthe ideas.
Have checked the gps tracker, that gets a flashing green light so seem sto be getting a signal.
The power into the cradle then into the phone is fine.
Have just tried to check the settigns on the gps just on the XDA with nothing plugged in a nd it stil really does not like that. Can just about get into gps pages through settings but try to change page and the whole thing comes to a grinding halt.
have even removed the SD card to see if that was an issue.
Any other ides would be really appreciated though else it' sgonna end up going out a window! |

just to close this one out.
Ended up having to send the GPS mouse back to TOmTOm.
In fairness to them, once I had sorted out the UPS pick up, the got it there and a new one back to me within 5 days. Just tested it and all seems to be working fine again.
thanks for the tis and ideas.
