downloaded voice files from TT website, got a zip file containing data05.chk and data05.vif
have extracted them to my HDD but now what do I do with them ?

I believe that you have to make a new folder called voices and put the files in there....
In answer to your next and as yet unasked question... I dont know where you put this folder but there are only a few places to try

Don't know if this will help you, but I found some ozzy osbourne voices for Tomtom & put them into the TomTom folder in "My Documents". Only one way to find out I guess ?? |

If anyone is into creating their own voices, here's an 'Idiots guide to TomTom Voices' for doing so. Although it was written for the TTGo, I think it applies to TTN5 as well. |
