Ok, downlaoded the official service pack for the ICN 510
downloaded Gatso files
installed gatso files
unplugged ICN 510

It was frozen, won't load up properly, says something about restoring backups. If it's connected to teh pc it hangs at the "connected to 'USB Default " HIDE / DISCONNECT buttons shown but you can't click on em.

I`m trying to delete the memory card and re-install to see if that works (thats what halfords suggest but i`m thinking it's the flash)

note: i can connect to teh device via "my computer"

Could someone possibly upload the contents of their /mobile device/ directory or maybe even just "My Flash Disk"

unless someone has any other suggestions? :D

cheers,

i searched back a few pages,

someone posted the phone number for navman tech support.

thse guys rock, they really know their hardware.

Anyway, they totally fixed my problem. Advised me to delete the backup folder from <my computer> /mobile devices/My Flash Disk/ then re-update the software using SmartST Desktop

it worked like a charm Smile
