|
|
Hi, 1st post.
Had TTN 3 for about 18months, all running ok.
Until today when I turned it on when its asking me to agree to the terms and conditions of a 1st install?
So I click on yes and look in recent locations only to be told it empty? Tell it to nav home and get told that home location is not set!
So were has all the data gone? If its still there how can I get TTN3 to see it.
Would an ActiveSync work?
Ideas. Anything you need to no, ask plz.
Thanks. |

sounds like the CFG file got corrupted - possibly when you switched the device off while TomTom was still running.
Next time make regular backups of the CFG file. _________________ Lutz

Hi, sorry about your mishap its happened to me a couple of times If you buy Sprite Backup that should be an end to any problems you may have in the future as you can set it up to backup automatically If you read through these board you will see tha it a must have piece of software! If you have an ipaq you may be able to buy at a discount ,mine cost $10

I've had this happen a few times - in my case it seems to be occasionally when I connect via ActiveSync the cfg file(s) are deleted 8O
Anyway, whenever this has happened I've always found a fairly recent version of the cfg files in the recycle bin on my PC - drag them back to the PocketPC and everything is back to normal.. |
