Write a procedure please

This post is for the moderators of this forum.
Would it be any possibility you write an article concerning how to make your own POI alerts (You know, by cuting and pasting the source code in an Excel sheet, making your ogg files, etc etc ...) ?

I mean we all know it is already on a post on this forum, with the procedure on it (written by TomTomtim with the help of Lutz, etc etc ...), but this post is becoming too long to find usefull information, as well as possible updates on the procedure.

Moreover, I think more and more people would be interested in such an article, that could be updated by the owner only, for example.

So to resume, would be nice I think to have a standalone procedure instead of having it in post where it is becoming difficult to find information.

What do you think about this ?
