NEWBIE ' PALM OS 5.2.7 (ZODIAC 1) WITH FORTUNA CLIP ON BTGPS

Ok so that´s what i have..

After much deliberation I decided the fortuna was the way to go... now i´ve been told mapopolis works well but i like the interface of tom tom and have heard reports of it working fine but i´m really struggling as a complete novice to all this and would like advice!

What software should I go for?
If it were tom tom where would i put the bits and pieces like maps and voices? I dl´d the version 4 for palm off their web and got the program onto one of my sd cards. it came up working with the set up menus, language, miles or km´s, voice, maps etc but i had no voice or maps installed to choose from, at least not in the right place so i can´t test it any farther. it looks nice so far and i am desperate to get this working. i think i will prefer the tom tom interface compared to the mapopolis as i hear that doesn´t face the way you are driving but the screen moves instead.. if that makes sense.

please help if you can, i really need the advice and will continue trawling the site.
