|
|
Does anybody know whether TT will bring out a new BT to run with version 5?
The reason I ask is because I have had TTN for 18 months now but with a wired GPS. I am now considering a BT version and even downloaded from the HP website an upgrade to my BT for my Ipaq 2210, which I understand from what I have read is needed
I have never had any problems with the wired version, its purely cosmetic <I'm fed up with the wire trailing all over the dashboard>
Is the TT BT the best?
Thanks

Yes, they come out with a new BT, based on SiRF III chipset.
The question "Is it the best?" is not useful. Best for what? _________________ Lutz

Remember the BT unit still needs power from somewhere. So you will still need a wire going to it unless you are going to mess on recharging it every time. |

Thanks Lutz and Mark
Best for not dropping signals and good connectivity.

I hadnt thought of that, of course it will still need power <doh!> I might still investigate the possibility, although, as I said its purely cosmetic as everything works okay..........ah well, maybe it might be as well to subscribe to the theory."if it aint broke dont fix it"
Thanks for the info guys
