European Maps for iPAQ/iPAQ NAV SYSTEM

I just purchased an iPAQ and iPAQ Nav System. I am travelling to Italy and Switzerland this summer and I am interested in driving maps.

I know almost nothing about these systems except to set a destination and listen to it. So, I do not know what format anything is in.

Can anyone help me find maps for something other than the US?

You can install pretty much any navigation software on your system. If it's just a short trip then you an use Mapopolis - it has demo maps that work for nine days
