GPS - is it affected by weather or is my acer n35 duff?

I get really strong signals at night.

But by day it always says weak signals, regardless of weather.

In cloudy wet weather it sometimes does not detect GPS at all. When it does it can take several minutes and there is never more than a couple of bars in Destinator

Once signal picked up though it works fine

make sure you disable infrared receive.

I did. Tried speed sentry on it and could barely get signal to make it work for more than acouple of seconds.
