I'm thinking of getting a TomTom Go 500 and have a question.

When you're driving along following the route on your TomTom Go, is it possible to quickly (and temporarily) fast forward through the route to see what's ahead? For example, to see how far the next petrol station is.

It is. In your example you can even see if there is one on route, or near route even, and you can divert to it as well.
