I very nearly returned my TT2 because of the lack of postcode search and until TT come up with an improved solution (not holding my breath) I was wondering if there was another solution.
Maybe this is impractical because of the size but would it be possible to put all the UK postcodes in a POI? I'm no expert but if possible this would be a fairly good interim fix. Someone must have a database of the co-ordinates of all the UK postcodes.

I used to have a list of Postcodes and Co-od's that go with them which I found on usenet a few years back.
I'm not sure if I still have it, but it I do then I can probably convert it to a POI database for TTN. Does anybody know of a way to generate TTN POI files in perl - just details of the format would suffice.
