Magellan 315 question

I've been playing around with my 315 for a while, but need a little help with something. Due to my job, I get involved in search and rescue operations a couple times a year ( mostly for medical support ). My question is: if I have the coordinates of a persons position, what is the quickest way to enter those coordinates into my gps so it will take me there? I don't want to mark waypoints as I go, I just want to enter where the person is and follow the gps directions to that point.......... Thanks in advance!

P.S. - Please excuse the lame question - I'm familiar with a map and compass, but I'm just learning the gps game!

The fastest way I find to enter waypoints is to press the Mark button then scroll down to the position and update it to the destination position. Normally you won't be that far off, and even changing a few degrees is easier than entering a whole new position.
