either tomtom or copilot will run on the xda 2 with out problem over bluetooth or wired just make sure the rom version is 1.72 downloading pocket bluetooth tools makes a big bifferent to the bluetooth conection and id remcomend downloading and installing it before pairing the gps receiver you can use a headset and a gps over bluetooth at the same time if you want a mount with gps built in then i recomend the cr-100 from holux and is compatible with xda2 and xda2i hope that helps a little

I would surjest that you have a read of the Holux Forum prior to purchasing a Holux CR 100 as there are problem with it and the phone on the XDA II.

If you scan through the Holux CR-100 forum you will see the problems that have been posted. With the phone turned on and the XDA II in the cradle you get feedback from the speaker amplifier circuit which distorts the TomTom's voice directions. I have had 2 of them here and both had to be returned. Turning off the phone is a cure but totally defeats the object of having it, if you can't receive or make hands free calls whilst on the move.
