I am Totally new to this, and any info. would be much appreciated.

Check out our review here for full details of the package and details of the POI installation for speed cameras. There are also links to a lot of additional resources at the bottom of the article. _________________ Mike Barrett |

Hi sorry to barge in .. yes i read your review. and hats off to your effort!!! :D
i waz browsing bt site and their offer on same. ther was thi some users review who said this ttn can not updated with full post codes and POI's!
Quote: | This item is supplied with Tom Tom navigation software but beware this is not the full Tom Tom package but a cut down version especially for the HP iPAQ rz1710, what this means is that it has limited functions ie. no post code search and other ommisions from the full package. Downloads for add-ons from the internet cannot be used ie. speed camera locations and traffic alerts.
The opinions expressed in this reviews section are those of our customers not of BT. Nothing contained herein amends BT's terms and conditions

yes in your review at the end you admit about the post codes
then what about getting around this loop hole?
also how to find compromise between needed POI's?
any help is much appreciated.
thanks. |

The users review you refer to was just: that the views of a user who didnt seem to fully understand what they were reviewing.
The HP Navigation software is NOT cut down version of TomTom software. It is the same software as the GO and Palm users have had since the release of those versions. Full Postcode search has only just been added in Version 5 (about to be released).
POIs can be added. This can be clearly seen in my review from the images showing the spped camera POIs. _________________ Mike Barrett |
