Route to a specific GPS coordinate destination - NOT an addr

I just recently purchased the TomTom Navigator 2004 software for PocketPC (for my DELL Axim PDA) for use with a TomTom bluetooth GPS.

I did so (mostly) since geocaching is my sport/hobby.

However; so far I can not figure out if it is possible to enter GPS coordinates as my TARGET DESTINATION (for routing info) instead of an address.

I was very much hoping that I could enter GPS LAT/LONG coords and TomTom (Tom squared?) would route me to those coords using the roads that would get me as close as possible to those coords.

If I select "Navigate to", I can enter a target address or a recent address. There is, indeedy, an Icon for GPS coordinate but the durn critter is "greyed out".

Sorry, you got the wrong software. Navigation to Lat/Lon is only supported up to and including TomTom Navigator 3.07

You can create POIs with the coordinates and then convert them to TomTom OV2 files and use those in your maps, but this is not an adhoc process.

For Geocaching there is much better software than TomTom Navigator.
