Tried my 610 out in ernest yesterday.
Travelled from Bradford to Berwick-on-Tweed,but just north of Newcastle,it decided to take me via the A697,instead of the A1,to Berwick.Luckily,I wasn't to be fooled,as I had travelled up the A1 a thousand times, and continued the way I knew.
It then started to say SIM,at the bottom of the screen, and then run ahead of itself for up to 2 miles, from the location I was actually at.On the return journey,it was like that, all the way back to Bradford, even saying I was going down roads, when I was nowhere near them.
On speed mode,it was registering at 62mph,when,because I was in a 38tonne truck, was 6mph faster than I could actually go!!!!!
So what's gone wrong? |

You have managed somehow to get the unit to simulate your route! Read your manual for how to turn the simulator off. _________________ Tim |

I've gone through the instructions, and nowhere does it mention this SIM,and how to rectify it,so I've e.mailed Navman, but would like to hear from anyone first,if they've had this problem. |

If you have the same .pdf manual as me, look on P.22 or search the document for Route Demonstrator. _________________ Tim |

Doesn't the Navman Website FAQ section give you details of how to activate and deactivate the Route Simulator
Just a thought.

To save you looking go to FAQ 121 'How can I plan a route without a fix on my iCN'
Have fun
