Is it just me, or have I missed something? I keep having problems with the XDA crashing, needing a soft re-set every now and then when I use TT. I have the latest rom upgrade in the XDA and loaded v3.07 from TT.

But, when I loaded the original v3 the XDA kept on reporting that the software might not work as it was written for a previous version of Windows mobile, the XDA is running 2003. When the upgrade from TT is installed, this only seems to replace the GPS module, not the rest of the program.

Any one got any thoughts or ideas?

TIA,

Philip Martin.

You may have attempted to do an upgrade while the program was running. Always make sure you soft-reset before installing any programs.

I had the same problem which was driving me nuts but now seems ok. What I did on O2's advice was uninstall the Tomtom recommended GPS update and reinstalled original from disk. The Tomtom 3.07 upgrade is ok, just the GPS one. At the same time, I also got a faster (Sandisk Ultra11) SD card and installed the maps on that. All ok now.
