tom tom bt cradle

hi all

Can anyone tell me the voltage needed to run the gps unit direct from the car, thinking of making my own cradle to house it

question is, i dont know what voltage to put on the rear 2 pins, does any know, i guess it will be 5v or 12v

if anyone knows, i would be very thankfully

the cradle needs 5 V, so you can use a cigarette lighter adapter and hardwire that behind the dashboard to get the 12V>5V conversion

Do you know where i can get an external antena for the tomtom gps module

cant seem to find one

Any antenna with a MMCX connector will work.
