But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi,
I like TTN3, but am puzzled by the logic, if any, of some of the instructions.
Why does "Maude" (as we call her) sometimes say "Keep Right" when approaching a motorway or trunk road junction when you are just staying on the main road, but mostly (fortunately!!) says nothing.
It does make sense if the inside lane is going to peel off, but most of the times she says it that is not the case.
Similarly, sometimes at a crossroads she says "Go straight ahead", but mostly does not?
Just curious as it does not really affect the usefulness of the program. _________________ Leigh

This is a function of the map quality and of the surveying accuracy.
The surveyer may have found it important to tell you not to turn off the motorway ("keep right") .
The other scenario mostly happens when you drive on a straight road when the name of the road changes. The program then feels like it needs to tell you to continue straight onto the new road. Especially annoying when you drive along a highway which has intermittent medians, and you drive on I45, then I45E, then I45, then I45E etc...
(yes, I know, I45 goes North-South. It was just an example!) _________________ Lutz
