just had this e-mail from poi warner 8O
Dear Mark,
the MDPNA150 is not supported yet, but we are currently working on it and hopefully we can release within the next 2 weeks a version for it.
I have added you to the list, so you will get an automatic notification as soon as it is available at www.navigating.de.
Best regards,
Markus Schwarzkopf

You can import poi to the Medion 150 by setting a parameter in the default.ini file.
found under C:\Program Files\MEDION Navigator 3.1D CE\Installer\Console
change POIImport=0 to POIImport=1
or if the lie is not there add it as here
InstallSoftware=0
;ViewerExists=1
POIImport=1
TutorialExists=0
;UserManuelExists=0
TMC=0
SDK=
This will give you a file import icon on the task bar of the navigator control console
the csv file spec is
Name,Info,lat,lon,Zip Code,City,Address,Adress Number
I have imported the UK speed camera database to camera1 and the cameras show up OK on the maps.
but if I rename the file or imort to Auto Alert 1 it crashes the system and I have to reset it.
I will keep on investigating |

Hello rb5286
I don't know for sure, but this sounds to me as if you need to install the mapping software to your main pc, that's where he is pointing to, not the files files on the PNA.
I then presume that you can enter some poi's into the mapping software and then transfer it to the PNA.
I would do this at your own risk, I would do a FULL BACKUP of your PNA if that is possible before trying what has been sugested above.
As I said, I don't know your setup, I am just reading between the lines! |
