| According to navmanusa.com the PIN comes with SmartST V2.01, but the 510, 630 & 635 units all ship with V3. You can even buy SmartST V3 for Pocket PC from the same site? |

I don't know if the US site is a bit behind the times, but the original PiN, now called the PiN100, shipped with V2 but the PiN300 ships with V3.

Manufacturors are sometimes bad at keeping their own info up to date.
Do you know if the PIN100 can take the V3 for PPC software?
There is no 200 or 300 on their site... ;)

Yes it can. As far as I am aware, the only difference between the two is the software.
