The GPS will flash from first turning on with ext antenna and no programs running. Not seen it flash without antenna.
Using the GPS info I can start it where it still flashes but no info on the GPS info tab. Grind to halt.
Using TomTom GPS I can select the CF with NMEA, Emtac and the TT Nav and when I go to tick it to lock on I get win busy for over an hour and it slows right down until I reset.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please. |

Now on TTN V3.07 (442).
No difference.
Sometimes I can tick the box to lock the setting in TT GPS if I choose any other port apart from the CF.
Any driver and any other port wil tick it straight away. Soon as I set to CF it dies. |

Hello,
What firmware is your 2210 running on? I have exactly the same setup but with firmware 1.10 & no problems.
(I am sure you know but to get firmware version soft reset & it will be in bottom right hand corner). |

Hi, it's 1.1 too.
I've hard reset my Ipaq now and installed only the GPS Info.exe and it still hangs when I choose start GPS.
The GPS is flashing as if it has a signal but I can't view any info. |

Sometimes mine can take about 10 mins to get a fix if it has not been plugged in for a time, is it brand new??
my settings are as follows;
NMEA 0183v2 4800
CF
You also mention emtac? what & where is this? |

The Emtac CRUX driver was from the TomTom GPS software.
Mine has a fix within minutes now but if I try the GPS Info tab after starting and leaving a while it just hangs and doesn't show me any info.
I only have the GPS Info program installed now.
I presumed this should work without tomtom and any other pogram needed. |

Are you trying it inside a car without the antenna? if yes what car. most modern cars have heat reflective coating on the front windscreen which almost stops GPS signals coming through. |

I managed to get a signal outside without the antenna.
That is not the problem though. As soon as it has a signal and starts flashing after I've clicked Start GPS the whole thing locks up. I can't view the GPS Info tab screen and eventually I have to end task and it says the software isn't responding.
I have emailed GlobalStat support... |

Still no reply from GlobablStat.
I've returned my iPAQ and bought from another supplier but now I'm seeing loads of problems on these 3 pages that isn't filling me with confidence. Arrives Thursday.
Seems to be loads of problems with BC-307 setup. |
