That is one of the features on my current system (Belkin aka iguidance 1.0) and really like it, but wasn't sure if the TomTom one has it...

Yes, it does. And if you find the ETAs are way out, you can adjust the average speeds on different types of road to suit your own style of driving.

Yes, it does adjust automatically to the current speed you are driving, but it uses the default (or user set speeds) for the roads you will travel on to calculate this time. Hope that makes sense.

To be strictly accurate, the speed you are driving at doesn't directly affect the ETA. It looks at the remainder of the route you are following, applies the default (or user defined) road speeds to each section of road still to be covered, and hence calculates an ETA. Obviously if you drive along a section at a speed other than the one you have set up for that class of road, you will gain or lose on your ETA, and TomTom will adjust automatically every time it recalculates (which is every minute or so). But it's the remainder of the journey, together with the types of road which you will follow, which determines the ETA, not your instantaneous speed. When you are stuck in a traffic jam, it's interesting to watch your ETA disappearing into the distance!
