I have bought the Vito software, and once it works properly it will prove, I think, a good investment.

Can anyone advise me about the parameters of jpeg maps that will work.

Is there a maximum size?
i.e nothing over 2000 wide * 2000 high

Is there a preferred size?

is there a preferred dpi size i.e 72dpi 300dpi etc?

Why is it that some maps will zoom, but others will not?

As hard as I try, I can't get the co-ordinates accurate. I hope it is something to do with the jpeg parameters I have been using.

I seem to have stumbled over some previous problems ... after all the user instructions are woefully lacking.

Also Vito have no interest at all in answering emails to their support email address.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

I do have some other questions, but I will post those seperately,

I think its 1000 by 1000 max, can't figure the zoom thing though.

The mose accurate way I have found is to use the grid ref for points where gridlines intersect and then convert them to Long/Lat using Grid InQuest which you can download for free!

Hope that helps!
