Seidio Mount charging TomTom Bluetooth GPS Unit

Hi,

I have just received my TomTom Bluetooth GPS system which I am very happy with.

I am now after a car mount for my iPaq rx3715. I was originally going to buy a TomTom "generic" unit, but I have spotted that the Sedio G2500 may be better suited.

The TomTom Bluetooth GPS unit comes with a charger cable that is supposed to connect it to the TomTom mount.

My question is - if I bought the version of the Sedio 2500 that is supposed to be for the TomTom wired GPS unit, will this be able to utilise the cable instead of having to buy the seperate Seidio cable?

Does anybody have any thoughts on whether this would work or not?

If the cable is a RJ11 and the outer pins carry the voltage /ground then it will work.
