I have looked at the instructions, do i have to remove both lines of Latitude and longitude, so just the description line is left, as i am not sure as on page 4 it shows them back again.
Sorry i am not good at this kind of thing |

No You don't remove the first two columns as that would remove all of the coordinates you're trying to plot. Using Notepad you remove the top line only. (Long, Lat, "Name"). You should still end up with three columns, just the top row of words should be removed. _________________ Tim |

Use them as well. There should be .csv files for Gatso, Specs, Redlight, Mobile, Temp and Continental. You could probably leave out continental unless you're going to mainland Europe. The others cover the different types of cameras. _________________ Tim |

The other files (i.e. not the .csv and .bmp files) are provided for users of other systems and you can ignore them. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have been able to add some of the Gatso files to the 635 and the camera icon and they are working on the map. but it would seem that some of the exel files that i have tranfered onto notepad will not work it says wrong format.
Am I doing some thing wrong, I have been adding one file at a time is this correct, and only the exel files ? |

The database files come in .xls and .csv flavour, which display virtually identical icons. The ones you want to use are .csv ones, which appear to have a lower case 'a' and an arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the icon. You can ignore the .xls files as they carry the same data in a slightly different format. Don't forget that each .csv file you want to import will have to have the top row stripped out using Notepad. _________________ Tim |

You can use the one .bmp if you want to, but most people like different ones. You will have to specify the same icon each time, as the POIEditor will default to the .bmp with the same filename as the .csv file. _________________ Tim |

Have you followed the same procedure as with the gatso.csv file? i.e. open the relevent .csv file using Notepad and strip out the top row? The usual problem when you get the error you're describing is that you have either opened the wrong file (.xls instead of .csv) or you haven't stripped out the top row. _________________ Tim |
