|
|
I have the pan-Europe version of CP5. I was looking up an address in a European city and as I zoomed in I found I couldn't see many of the minor roads, even though in many cases the street names were there, and if I brought the pointer up with the mouse it highlighted many more street names.
The detail was there once, because I used it extensively in the summer when planning a trip to France, and I have transferred data for parts of France, Mallorca and Portugal to storage cards before using CP5 in those countries.
I figured that the data I had stored on my PC had become corrupted, so uninstalled from the PC and reinstalled it. However, there was no change.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there a fix?

In the PC application, click Map > Map features and re-enable the items you are missing. _________________ Lutz

Problem solved. The video settings on my laptop had changed since I last planned a route on it (as opposed to my PPC, which I normally use). The very pale yellow road edges did not show up against the white background. When I adjusted the colour saturation settings, the roads came back!
