what is a cache value. I have been told it may be in the internet settings and to track it down and remove it how do I di this?

It really helps if you reply in the original thread rather than start a new one - there's no context here for anyone other than probably me to make a sensible reply to.

That said - your problem is that you appear to have entered a value for a proxy server somewhere either in POIEdit or Internet Explorer. My recollection of Freeserve is that no proxy server is needed or provided.


Start by looking in Tools -> Proxy Settings in POIEdit. If Internet Explorer is managing to browse the web OK, choose "Use Internet Explorer settings".
