I would like to add my thoughts on www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk. I recently bought a tom tom mobile, unfortunately the gps receiver or charger was faulty which caused the receiver to burn out as soon as i plugged it in. Intially i was not happy with the response i got from although they did offer to pay all charges incurred sending the faulty items back plus miscellaneous charges i had also incurred, but mainly i was not happy because i was not getting what i wanted and they where just following their company procedures.

My item was sent back special delivery Royal mail for next day delivery by 1pm, but Royal mail made a error and it was not delivered on time.

I then spoke to Grant Hine at globalpositioningsystems and i do not want to go into any great detail here as i dont want to feel any presendence has been sent, but suffice to say he sorted out my problem immediately and once again apart from Royal Mail making another mistake in delivering the item which obviously is not the problem of globalpositioningsystems i now have a fully functional tom tom mobile.

I cannot reccommend then enough, it was good to actually speak to a person who can actually make desicion rather then the normal customer services that you meet so often nowadays where company policy is company policy and thats that.

Well done globalpositioningsystems (assuming you read these forums that is)
