Just bought a bundle GPS solution - views would be welcome.

I have just ordered a bundle package from GlobalPositioningsystems.
The package includes the following:

Product: 256mb Secure Digital Card
Product: Arkon Powered GPS PDA Mount with Loudspeaker
Product: Navigator 3 (Software & Maps of Great Britain)
Product: Connection Cable for HP iPAQ 22xx, 41xx, 43xx, 55xx, 63xx, rz17xx, rx37xx, hx47xx
Product: iPAQ Pocket PC hx4700
Product: Speed Camera Database Download

I am keen to hear any views on the Arkon Powered GPS PDA Mount with Loudspeaker and the HX4700. Any views would be welcome.

I use a 2210 with and normal Arkon unpowered mount and the speaker of the PDA suffices.

Try googling your PDA and any known bad speaker issues, you might save yourself a few quid.

Also i use a CF GPS receiver with build in 256MB of memory.

The iPAQ hx4700 is fine without an amplified mount in my opinion. It's the first high end iPAQ in some time that doesn't have a poor speaker.
