Does anybody have a list of the files that CheckPOInt stores on the storage card in the map-folder. (exept the bmp's and ov2's of course)

(Maybe all the files on the PocketPC that CP stores... Rolling Eyes )

Unless I'm very much mistaken, the answer to your question is "none" for CheckPOInt 2.0.2.

CheckPOInt installs files in \Windows (the Navigator SDK 'glue' DLLs) and in its directory in \Program Files - but nothing in the map folder apart from CheckPOInt.ov2 if you record POIs with CheckPOInt.

CheckPOInt 3 has rather more files hanging around if you synchronise with POIplace, but I don't use CheckPOInt 3 on either of my machines. From memory, CheckPOInt 3 puts some files in \My Documents.

OK - thanks - I have done some testing and found the reason for the original problem, so your answer is OK...(problem solved)

One more thing:
You have probably answered a thousands time to this... Rolling Eyes

Why CheckPOInt 2.0.2 for you.

And if I find the answer reasonable; where can I find it...

CheckPOInt 2.0.2 is very easy to use with the Pocket GPS World camera database. Recorded cameras are put into CheckPOInt.ov2 complete with speed limit and camera type data in the comments.

Version 3 makes the use of CheckPOInt.ov2 much more difficult - but there's gains in other ways. For some applications 2.0.2 is better, for some 3.x is better.
