Visiting the US.

Hi...from a non techy novice. Forgive me, but, is it possible to 'rent' a map of the US, so when I go on holiday with my IPAQ and TomTom , I can somehow just drop in a SD map of the States....or am I just plain stupid to ask such a question ? Thanks. Mike.

I'm not aware of anyone doing this, and most software packages have a disclaimer in saying you are not allowed to rent or hire out the software, so I doubt anyone will be offering this.

Have a look at www.mapopolis.com They offer all the states maps for a nine day trial. Enjoy you holiday.
