I'm running Destinator 3.0.75.81 and would like to know if there's anyway of uploading 'My Favorites' to the PC? _________________ Carlsn

I do not think so - what I have managed to do is to be able to get hold of POIs either from TomTom sites or make my own, and then format them into the D3 layout on the PC and then download them onto my iPAQ. But it's a one way process; I can create and edit them but only the once. There again if you keep a copy on your PC you will be fine so long as you don't add any using the PDA.
Lutz has decoded the raw D3 data, so in theory one could write a program to take the files from the PDA, but I think this is still of limited use, especially given you can't navigate to the closest favourite.... |

Jellied,
That's the problem, as I tend to place the favorites from the PDA.
Maybe it should be made available on the next update. _________________ Carlsn

The next update! I have barely got over going from D2 to D3 with all those problems, then 2 versions of D3 and then paying finally to get to version 3.0.75 - only to discover the roundabout problem is still there!
Happy to stick with D3 for a while, but when the time comes I will certainly consider TomTom. |
