Just out of interest, what are the benefits of using GO maps in TTN3 rather than the standard maps?
(other than the the M6 toll road, of course.) |

that's pretty much it - there is hope that the GO maps are newer.
Please note that you can only do this if you legally own both products. _________________ Lutz

I cannot get my other halfs Go maps to work with my TT3.07. If I put the Go maps on my PDA it tells me I need to activate the software, which could mess up activation if anything happens to the Go. If I try using the "mid" file from TT3 it will not recognise it. |

As long as you've already activated your original UK maps on Tomtom 3, you dont need need to do any activation with the Go UK ones. Works perfectly on my 2210 with 3.07. Theres no need to go messing around with any of the files. |

Is it also possible therefore to put TT3 maps onto the GO? Again, on the proviso that both products are legally owned. Seems to be a different format on the GO.

Could someone please tell me how to install the GO map onto TT3.
When i tried loading it from my PC it seemed OK but TT3 ignores it.
Thanks Mike. |

Copy the maps directory from one storage card to the other (or simply use the GO's storage card) and then when you start TTN3 it will find the new maps and ask you to enter the activation information. _________________ Lutz
