Can you get a cf / sd receiver that also stores data?

With the advances in technology, I would think that you could get a cf / sd gps receiver that also has the capability to store data - unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case (correct me if I'm wrong).

The only way around the "wires over the dash" thing seems to be either bluetooth, a pda with dual cf and sd slots or a hardwired system.

I've got a XDA2 so the bluetooth route could be taken but I've also got a head like a sieve and would forget to charge the receiver.

Are there technical reasons why a dual adapter can't be made or a receiver that does both (stores data and does the gps bit)?

yes Sysonchip do a CF one with either 256Mb or 512 Mb built on board. www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk stock them
