Rikaline 6012 good or bad? my experience

Hi

My first post so hope it get's there OK. I have bought a 6012 from EBAY (an opaque blue not quite like the one shown here). I have run it for a couple of weeks in my work van side by side with my Garmin 60CS on sat view for comparison and it has always pretty much performed in sync with the 60CS even occasionally outperforming it. I have heard so many negative things about it I started to get paranoid and thought I'd give a Haicom compact flash MMF sirf a try to give me a little more on foot flexibility. I have to say, I am not impressed and intend to send the Haicom back and stick to the Rikaline. I may try the Sysonchip xtrac for on foot. I would be interested in anyone elses feedback on this. Dave have you any experience on this particular model?
something I noticed in TomTom using the sirf protocol I had tremendous lag. is it possible that's why some people have had problems with the sys on chip xtrac.
