Some Questions...

Hi everyone,

I've been reading the forum for awhile, and just decided to join :P


I've been using TomTom for awhile, but still dont really know how to use it that well, It just dosnt seem to work the way i'd like.

Could someone explain The following:

1. Is there anyway to get the woman to read the instructions out sooner. - By the time she says "Take the 3rd exit" at a roundabout, i've drove past the sign and carnt look up to see what road im looking for on the lanes. Basicly have the instructions read a few yards earler.

2. Is there a single pack with all the main shops (asdas/tescos etc)? - The only shops on my TomTom is a crazy auto parts shop?

3. How much newer are the TomTom Go Maps? I've read they can be used on TT3, but i dont really mind if all it does is add the Toll Road.

for asdas/ tescos try poi edit available from the downloads section it sounds like the pocket pc you have may be runing slow or the storage card may need formating as some machines with 200mhz processors ie hp jornada568 sometmes run slow when runnig satnav software let us know what machine and storage card you have and what type of gps your using anfd well see if we can help
