How to create my own voice prompts for TT-Nav-Palm version

Hi!

I have just switched from the PPC to the Palm version of TomTom (mainly because my old PPC was just plain useless). But I have a question I have mailed TomTom supoprt in, but no reason not to open a question here too.

The localized voice prompts (for me, swedish) are great on the PPC, but on the Palm, TomTom have changed them a little to be "read" slower. They almost sound retarded in some cases. It's not as fluent as the swedish PPC voice prompts, or the US/UK voices (even on Palm).

So my question is - has anyone created their own voice prompts for TomTom for Palm (I know there are some available on TomTom add-on-site, but I need a more fluent *swedish* voice and am willing to create one). I made the swedish voice prompts for Mapopolis, and would do the same for TomTom if I knew how to do! The files are just a mess on the TomTom CD - no way of understanding how the things are handled (why not use plain wav files?) so extracting it just does not work.

If so, please let me know! I can't stand the swedish voices in TomTom for Palm - I installed "Jane" instead. She's so much more fluent in telling me where to go!
