Checkpoint 2 or Checkpoint 3?

I am running checkpoint 3 with no problems (as far as I know) although I'm not too keen on the fact that it seems to save to the pocket pc the bitmaps for all POI's if you sync them or not.

My question is, even though it seems to be running ok, I have read earlier posts about problems with V3 and would appreciate anyones thoughts about if it's best to stick with v3 or downgrade to V2 which seems to be the preferred version.
