I've been using TomTom 3 for a couple of months now, and a part from the usual issues like looking up addresses and alike I don't think it's too bad. It has certainly helped me with my job.

At the week end things changed, While I was on the motorway the TomTom display changed to blue and just showed the next junction. It did change back when I got near to a junction. The thing is I want the map back.

I don't know if I've ticked or unticked a box in the preferences or not, I have been looking but can't find out what I've done wrong.

Does any one have a clue what's happened?

Regards,
tim

Don't panic. It sounds like the 'safety screen'. The display automatically switches to the blue screen you describe above a certain speed. You can set the threshold speed in the preferences.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try adjusting the 'safety screen'.

I do remember changing it because it was set to 124mph or something daft like that. We are in the uk afterall, so I set it to a more realistic speed.

Thanks for the advice,

Tim
