IPAQ GPS - what do I need now?

Hi,
I have a 3650 with TT software. I know I need to buy a CF card, just did a search and found something telling me I need a special expansion device to allow me to connect a CF card - is this correct?
Also, if I use a CF card, where do I connect the GPS mouse? I have also read that this can go in the CF slot.
As well as that, I want a powered car mount, preferably with a speaker...
So what exactly do I need?
As you may have gathered, I know F.A. about PDAs so any answers please write in plain English please guys!

With a 3600 series iPAQ you need an expansion pack to connect a CompactFlash card - and that's your only option for map storage on a 3600 series, as these old iPAQs don't have built in memory card slots.

You can use a CompactFlash GPS - but that means tracking down a dual CompactFlash or dual PC card pack. An arguably better option would be to use a wired GPS, which connects to the charging / synchronisation port on the bottom of the iPAQ. Make sure you get a 3600 series cable - the 3100/3600/3700 series use a different connector to later iPAQs.


There's a variety of companies selling car mounts. Make sure whatever you buy is suitable for a 3600 series iPAQ with whatever CompactFlash expansion pack you're using, and for whatever wired GPS you buy.
