Hi folks,
I've purchased PrymeNav software with Fortuna clip on. I'd like to know if there is any speed camera add on like checkpoint or poi warner that will work it?
Thanks in advance |

There is an application called travel-i, which provides speed camera alarms. It uses GPS positioning to do this. The problem you and most people have, is that you can't share a COM port with more than one App.
To resolve that there is another application you'll need called GPSgate. It basically allows you to create virtual COM ports which CAN be used by more than one Application.
I have just set this up for myself, though I am still trying it out while it is on a 14 day trial basis.
So far so good, it does work in parallel with Navman SmartST V2, though there is a slight performance impact (not so much that it is a problem!)
To find the sites with the software, type in a search engine, travel-i and also GPSgate, you should find both pieces of software that way
Good luck! |
