HP INS2 and Kane Speed Minder

Hi I have an Ipaq 3910 and I've got the GPS jacket HP Ipaq Navigation System 2. I've downloaded Kane Speed minder but I can't get it to work.

Does anyone know what Baud rate etc that the jacket uses?

We have a similiar post in the forum - search for Jacket. The 3970 (not 3910) may not have a free COM port for the jacket... Try COM0:

Thanks very much for your reply. On closer inspection I actuall have the 3970.

I don't have the option of com 0 in the speed minder options page, just 1 - 8

I've searched through the postings under the search term "jacket" and I'm no wiser!

Thanks very much for your help but I have given up on the Kane Speed minder. I couldn't get the GPS gate program to do what I wanted.

I would really like to get my Ipaq going with a speed camera database, do you know if there are any other versions available that will be compatable?
