I have been using CoPilot 3.5 for a long while now. A few months back, I was keen to move to TomTom 3 as a replacement, but was excited when I read Dave's review of CoPilot Live 5.
I ordered it yesterday and I have it now with me!!! It was great that ALK could dispatch it so quickly.
The config I use is iPAQ 5450, CoPilot 3.5 and CoPilot GPS Receiver with a CF card (128mb).
I am a novice at this, hence some questions. I would appreciate if anyone who has done this before can help me.
1. I have quite a few 'saved trips' on my CoPilot. I dont know if this is on the CF card or on my iPAQ. When I upgrade, will I loose all these trips? or will it retain them?
2. I have a 128mb CF card. What I want to do is load all of the UK maps along with all the POIs onto the card. Will 128mb be enough or should I get a bigger CF card?

I haven't tried an upgrade from 3.5 to 5, from what I recall the readme text file suggested uninstalling all previous versions and then installing v5. I just installed v5 over the top of the v4 I had, but from what I recall, it didn't keep my locations saved. I would recommend though uninstalling, and also checking in the \ of your Pocket PC and also the \Program Files that a CoPilot directory doesn't exist. If it does, I would delete this, and likewise on the storage card. If you have a QuickStart directory which I think is called 2566 then delete this also prior to install.
